Outfit 219 :: Wolf + Lace x NYLON Magazine

For years, NYLON has been my go-to magazine for styling ideas and inspiration, so I am thrilled to be collaborating with them to promote NYLONshop. I was sent the Alex and Chloe Nice Hair Crop Top to style and review. This top is perfectly oversized, not too loose, and it drapes just right. Crop tops are the hottest trend right now and there are so many ways to style them. One of my favorite ways is to pair them with high-waisted shorts so you get just a small peek of the midriff. A sweater tied around the waist adds a layer and gives a soft grunge look. A comfortable pair of flat shoes completes this casual, everyday look.

Featured Post :: Kushyfoot Review

I recently received these foot covers from Kushyfoot to test out and review. These styles are from the new Spring 2014 collection, which includes over 20 foot and toe covers in various styles and colors. All of their products incorporate the ancient healing art of Reflexology and are designed to feature a comfortable sole. The toe padding helps to cushion the ball of your foot and makes breaking in new shoes a little easier!

The Shiny Dot Foot Covers are a perfect way to change up a pair of flats or pumps. I love the way the lace edge peeks out and gives the shoe a whole new look. The only problem I found with these is the sizing. Most styles come in two sizes, regular and large, but these ones are made of a very stretchy fabric which is meant to fit all foot sizes. I wear size 7 1/2 and even though they are supposed to be one size fits all, they felt a little tight, so I wouldn't recommend these for larger foot sizes.

The Extreme Low Cut Foot Covers are my favorite pair. I love the comfort of socks and I don't usually like going barefoot in shoes, but I also hate the look of socks with flats. These are perfect because they are cut so low that they don't show at all. I was a little worried at first that they might slip off because of the cut being so low, but they feature a heel grip that helped them to stay put the entire day.

This past October, I did a post (here) featuring oNecklace personalized jewelry and I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with them again. This time I chose the Corona necklace in Sterling Silver (also available in 24k Gold). Like I said in my last post, I'm not a big fan of name necklaces and I'd rather own a piece of jewelry that says something more meaningful. I'm a bit of a dreamer, and while I know the importance of staying grounded and living in the moment, I find joy in reminiscing about the past and imagining the future. It's how I keep myself from ever being bored. The words I picked for this necklace are nostalgia and wanderlust. I like how they are opposite but similar; nostalgia is dreaming of the past and wanderlust is dreaming of the future. I'm so happy with the way this turned out, and I think it may be my new favorite necklace!
